rossorose duo

Alisa Rose, violin. www.arosefiddle.com Amy Zanrosso, piano

Formed in 2015 by two Bay Area based musicians who have both forged impressive national and international careers, RossoRose Duo specializes in bringing to life the entire range of violin and piano duet repertoire, from baroque to the most modern, no era is off limits. Featuring violinist Alisa Rose and pianist Amy Zanrosso, RossoRose draws from their classical training as well as their experience with a variety of other musical styles to deliver their very own unique, expressive and powerful performances.

See below for upcoming and past shows.

Musical sisters* separated at birth, Alisa Rose and Amy Zanrosso were magically reunited under the auspices of one Metropolis Violin Concerto. Feeling like they still had a lot more to musically say and explore they formed the RossoRose Duo which will combine the world of their preferred classical classics with music being written in the here and now. Look forward to experiencing clashing movements of different sonatas paired with Alisa's original compositions and maybe some drums thrown in for good measure.

Let the journey begin.

* for the record, we are not actually sisters....
